Latice Crawford, born and raised in Queens, New York, was destined for Gospel music. A storefront preacher's
daughter, Crawford got her start singing in her cousin's choir. The New York landscape, where she often times
gathered inspiration, allowed her to explore her creative capacities - writing, designing fashion and perfecting her
signature sound. "I don't sing," Crawford once said about her talented vocals. "I testify to a beat!"
Judges of BET's hit series Sunday Best felt the same exact way, successfully securing the number three spot in
the series' final round during it's second season run.
Notable Gospel singer and producer Donald Lawrence described Crawford's powerhouse talent as "Latice's
strength's are not only is she an amazing singer, but she has great depth to her."
This year, special gifts will be made available to moms by one of
our exceptional sponsors, Lord & Taylor.
